Here is What YOU Asked For! (I’m a bit surprised.)

For the last two weeks, I have been collecting responses to all sorts of questions about the types of content you want from me, the format you want it in, and how often you want it. Today’s post will lay it all out for you. First the details (question by question). After that…You’ll can see what I’m going to do about it!

Question 1: How OFTEN do you like to read my blog posts?

  • Weekly = 68.7%
  • Every other week = 15.7%
  • Monthly (more in-depth) = 15.7%

Q2: What TYPES of my content do you enjoy?

You were given the opportunity to check as many boxes as you wanted (so the percentages don’t add up to 100).

  • 84.4% like written Bible study tips and how-to’s
  • 84.4% like inspirational posts that unpack a Bible passage
  • 50% like video-based Bible study tips and how-to’s
  • 47.8% like lists (best movies, books, website, apps, etc.)
  • 42.2% like reviews of movies, books, resources, etc.
  • 31.1% like content for parents
  • 23.3% like content for folks in vocational ministry (churches, ministries, etc.)

Here is Your Chance To Tell Me What to Do

Are you feeling a little bossy? I hope so. (At least a little bit.)

Now…I don’t want you to go overboard. But I do want to hear your thoughts on…

  • How frequently I should write blog posts
  • What you would like me to write about
  • Whether you want more videos (or reviews, resources, eBooks, etc.)
  • What my YouTube channel should look like in 2019
  • What you would like to see more – or less – of from me on social media
  • What webinars or courses you’d like (and what they should look like)
  • And a few more…

Everyone who fills out this survey will have the chance to enter to win ANY TWO of my products!

Your choice! Physical books, digital books, DVDs, even my complete Relational Bible Study™ online course! Any TWO…all for 5 minutes of your time!

(NOTE: The survey is completely anonymous and every question is optional. The last question gives you the option of entering the contest. There is ZERO automatic collection of any personal data. I will select a winner on Thursday, January 17, 2019 and contact the winner the next day.)

You should see the survey below. If your device isn’t showing the survey, simply click here and a new page will open with only the survey.

You Can Determine What Goes Into My New Book

For the last seven years, I have devoted January through April to a 4-Month Bible Read Thru. This spring, I’m writing a new book about it! Today, I would be so grateful if you’d take two minutes (maybe less) to make sure it contains everything you want in there!

[featured-image single_newwindow=”true” alt=”I’m writing a new book this spring. This 2-minute survey will help you make sure it’s exactly what you want!”]

A few topics that’ll be in there for sure…

  • How it all started for me back in 2010.
  • The impact it has made (on my life and hundreds of others).
  • Common obstacles and how to overcome them.
  • How to host an in-person BRT group.
  • How to host an online, Facebook BRT group.
  • Various options for reading plans.

Before writing it, I want to make sure that you want it…and make sure I’m not overlooking anything.

That’s where you come in.

A few days ago, I created a very short survey that will help me get a pulse for the need, best format, and content. Would you take two minutes right now and help me make this book super helpful?

NOTE: This survey is now closed. Thanks to all of you who participated!

Thanks so much! I am really excited to get this book in your hands…hopefully very soon!

You Get to Choose My Next 3 Videos!

I had a hair-brained idea the other day. (I know, you’re surprised.) I’ve been thinking about some fun, creative – and helpful! – things I could be doing to serve you. The idea of shooting more short, practical videos keeps popping into my head.

[featured-image single_newwindow=”false”]

Of course, I kept wondering, “What would be the most helpful, most applicable videos for you?”

That’s when it hit me…I should just ask you!

Thus the one-question survey below (with one extra for you over-achievers).

Here’s the deal: [Read more…] about You Get to Choose My Next 3 Videos!

How Well Do You Know Major Religions?

religious knowledge-largeRead an interesting article yesterday that revealed how little Americans really know about major religions. The article is based on a survey by The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. Before reading any further – and definitely before reading the MSNBC article – take the survey.

How did you do? Pretty interesting huh? Most interesting for me was how many people missed questions about the religion they most identify themselves with.

Take the survey. Read the article. Let me know what you think.
