I love Thanksgiving. I love the Bible. I love pictures. So…this year, I thought I would combine the three and share them with you. One verse for each day between now and Thanksgiving. (In case you’re concerned about my math since Thanksgiving is two weeks away and I only have seven pictures…can you guess what next Wednesday’s post is going to be?)
I would encourage you to meditate on one of these verse pictures each day for the next two weeks. Maybe we could all share one of these pictures on Facebook – or with a friend via text or email – each day.
Psalm 107:8-9 helps us be thankful for all that God has provided.
Psalm 118:1 calls us to remember his steadfast love and faithfulness.
Is there someone you’re thankful for? Send them a note, text, or email with Philippians 1:3-4 in it. (It’ll make their day.)
In a world of “don’ts” and “won’ts,” Psalm 9:1-2 is a proclamation of what we WILL do!
When you feel overwhelmed or defeated, 1 Corinthians 15:56-57 reminds you of the victorious truth of the cross and the empty grave!
Colossians 2:6-7 reminds us that “receiving Christ” is the starting point – not the end. We are rooted, built up, strengthened and we overflow with thankfulness.
