Today is a huge day! If you’ve been around here a while, you know I have been talking about this for a couple months now.
I am super excited about this. After all, I’ve been working on this all Fall (and thinking, planning, and preparing for it since 2010).
In my opinion, “Launch Week” should feel a lot like a party.
That’s why I’m giving you 14 GIFTS if you buy your copy during Launch Week!
While the 14 GIFTS were only available during Launch Week, I would like to give you TWO GIFTS:
- Buy a PHYSICAL copy at Amazon, my online store, or wherever you want.
- Forward the receipt to info – at – keithferrin.com.
- I will send you the PDF copy and the Kindle file. That way, you can read Rapid Bible Read Thru in whatever format you choose.
Here are the 14 GIFTS you will get if you buy a copy within the next 7 days (ends Tuesday, December 13th at midnight):
Bonus 1 – EBOOK (.pdf) version of Rapid Bible Read Thru – For reading on your computer or tablet.
Bonus 2 – KINDLE (.mobi) version of Rapid Bible Read Thru – If you’re not sure how to get the Kindle file onto your Kindle, here are some instructions.
This book is awesome!!! Yes, there are plans out there that give you different time tables and verses, but this book goes a LOT deeper than just a plan. There are so many takeaways in this book, and honestly, I can see myself taking this book out over and over again.”
“My relationship with the Word and the Author will never be the same!”
“I’m convinced this is the best way to read the Bible!”Amazon and Reader Reviews
The FULL version of my first book!
Bonus 3 – Falling in Love with God’s Word (full eBook) – The book that started it all. This book explores in great detail all three phases (Foundation, Framing, and Finish Work) of studying a book of the Bible and weaving Scripture Internalization into that process. It is the foundation of Relational Bible Study. You can read reviews or buy the print or Kindle version on Amazon.
The FULL version of my 2nd book!
Bonus 4 – Like Ice Cream: The Scoop on Helping the Next Generation Fall in Love with God’s Word (full eBook) – I wrote this book specifically for parents, children’s pastors, youth pastors, and anyone who is passionate about the next generation. In it, we explore the nine principles that help the next generation engage with – and fall in love with – the Bible! You can read reviews or buy the print or Kindle version on Amazon.
There are lots of books about doing KidMin. There are very few about leading Kidmin. If you are a KidMin leader – family pastor, nursery leader, volunteer, or anything else in family ministry – you need to read Leading KidMin: How to Drive Real Change in Children’s Ministry.
The two authors – Pat Cimo and Matt Markins – know what they’re talking about. Pat is the Director of Marriage and Family Life at Willow Creek and Matt is the Vice President of Ministry Resources at Awana. Between them, they have over five decades of KidMin experience.
I had the chance to sit down with both of them and talk about the state of KidMin – and specifically – how to help the leader stay healthy, last a long time, and lead lasting change.
Simply put: This book is fantastic! Watch the interview, then please, grab a copy today!
Here are the questions they answer in this interview:
- Why did you write Leading Kidmin?
- What do you hope this book accomplishes for the reader and the KidMin community?
- Tell me about the research that went into this project?
- What is your favorite chapter? (BTW…They have different answers!)
- What are the practical pieces that will really help the KidMin leader?
- What’s this new “KidMin Dashboard” you created (and included)?
- Is this for larger churches, smaller churches, or both?
- What did you find the most encouraging as your researched and wrote?
Today is unbelievably exciting for me…and I wanted to share it with you! For the first time since my book – How to Enjoy Reading Your Bible – came out last May, my publisher is featuring it in their monthly sale!
They let me know this was coming a few weeks ago – but today through Sunday they dropped the price to $1.99!
Since you’re reading this blog, my assumption is that my writing, speaking, blogging, etc. have been an encouragement to you. If you believe the message of relational (vs. informational) Bible study would be an encouragement to others as well, would you help me spread the word? [Insert “pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top” here.]
Here are the two reasons I really need your help:
- I truly believe this is the message God has called me to share with the world. It has changed my life (and people tell me it has changed theirs too).
- Honestly…I want to write more books and publishers look at the traction that’s generated from events like this to determine whether they want to take a chance on an author’s next book.
Here are a few ways you can help:
- Use this link to buy a copy. (BTW…This is the Amazon link, but my understanding is that it should be $1.99 everywhere for the next five days.)
- Send one as a gift to someone through Amazon.
- Copy/Paste this link anywhere and everywhere: http://keithferrin.com/enjoythebible
You could also copy/paste this “pre-made” Facebook post:
When it comes to reading the Bible, is the conversation in your head more “should” than “want?” If so, this book from @KeithFerrin will help you make the switch. And it’s on sale for only $1.99 (but only until Sunday). http://keithferrin.com/enjoythebible
Or here’s one for Twitter:
If you love to share pictures instead of text, simply hover over any of the three pictures in this post and you should be able to share them with a click on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. In case you want to share them on other platforms (or save them for later), I’ve put the four pictures you see on this page in this public Dropbox folder.
Finally…would you please pray with me that God would use these next five days to get my book into the hands of those who need it? Thanks heaps!
Do you listen to audiobooks? Have you wanted to, but the thought of listening to a book while on your computer seems unrealistic, and getting the file downloaded and transferred to your phone or tablet seems too complicated?
If so…your answer is ChristianAudio.com.
I have been using ChristianAudio since 2009. (Sorry for not writing this post until now.) Think of them as Audible.com with only Christian books. In fact, over 5,000 Christian books.
Here’s a 3-minute video review and walk-thru. If you prefer to read, scroll on down a few inches and read away!
Here are a few of my favorite things… (Insert light, fluffy music here.)
The Monthly Free Book
Let’s be honest. Lots of sites give stuff away. However, most of them give away something that is old, short, or public domain. Not ChristianAudio.com.
Every month, ChristianAudio gives away a free, premium audiobook. Oftentimes, it’s a brand new release from a best-selling author. You can see the last five audiobooks in the screenshot of my account to the right.
For the last seven years, I have devoted January through April to a 4-Month Bible Read Thru. This spring, I’m writing a new book about it! Today, I would be so grateful if you’d take two minutes (maybe less) to make sure it contains everything you want in there!
A few topics that’ll be in there for sure…
- How it all started for me back in 2010.
- The impact it has made (on my life and hundreds of others).
- Common obstacles and how to overcome them.
- How to host an in-person BRT group.
- How to host an online, Facebook BRT group.
- Various options for reading plans.
Before writing it, I want to make sure that you want it…and make sure I’m not overlooking anything.
That’s where you come in.
A few days ago, I created a very short survey that will help me get a pulse for the need, best format, and content. Would you take two minutes right now and help me make this book super helpful?
NOTE: This survey is now closed. Thanks to all of you who participated!
Thanks so much! I am really excited to get this book in your hands…hopefully very soon!
Sunday was Valentine’s Day. Last week I shared some of the most-read, most-recommended, and top-reviewed Christian books for married couples. This week is a similar list for singles. This list only contains books that I’ve read, come highly recommended, or were very highly-rated on Amazon. (Click any of the green buttons below to get download this list in PDF format – and feel free to share!)

A few quick notes…
NOTE 1: This is not a “best-to-worst” list. I simply put them in the order they were originally released. So…If you like older, time-tested books, start at the top. If you’re more into the latest, hot-off-the-presses titles, work from then bottom up.
It’s almost Valentine’s Day. Rather than spend several hundred words waxing eloquently about marriage, I thought I’d share some of the most-read, most-recommended, and top-reviewed Christian books on marriage. Next week I’ll share a similar list for singles. (How’s that for a Valentine’s Day set of bookends?)

A few quick notes…
NOTE 1: Rather than attempting to “rank order” these, I decided to simply list them in the order they were originally released. If they’ve been updated, I have noted that. So…If you like the classic, time-tested books, start at the top. If you’re more into the latest, hot-off-the-presses titles, work from then bottom up.
Do you have kids, grandkids, nieces, or nephews? If so, I highly – very highly! – recommend you grab a copy of Brian Dollar’s brand new book Talk Now and Later: How to Lead Kids Through Life’s Tough Topics.
The reasons why I’m recommending it, as well as my interview with Brian and the official trailer for the book, are all below.
This has been a crazy last few days. And I mean “crazy” in a more-than-I-could-ask-or-imagine sort of way! I expected Tuesday’s “official launch” of How to Enjoy Reading Your Bible to be a bit crazy.
What I didn’t fully prepare myself for was how crazy it would continue to be.
It is so encouraging – and humbling – to have people from literally around the world sending me emails, tweets, and Facebook messages of encouragement.
Today’s the day! If you’ve been around here a while, you know I have been talking about this for over a year.
I am super excited about this. (Like a 9-year-old who’s mom just said he could have a second bowl of ice cream!)
And I want to make “Launch Week” like a party.
So I’m giving you 8 GIFTS if you buy your copy during Launch Week!
NOTE: Instructions for claiming your bonuses are below the list.
Here are the 8 GIFTS you will get if you buy a copy within the next 7 days (ends Tuesday, May 26th at midnight):
Bonus 1 – How to Enjoy Reading Your Bible – STUDY GUIDE (PDF) – Coming Soon! These questions are embedded at the end of each chapter. You can use this standalone version if you want a place to jot down notes, ideas, or questions for discussion.
Bonus 2 – Falling in Love with God’s Word: Discovering What God Always Intended Bible Study to Be (PDF – Full Book)– The book that started it all. This book explores in great detail all three phases (Foundation, Framing, and Finish Work) of studying a book of the Bible and weaving Scripture Internalization into that process. It is the foundation of Relational Bible Study.
I really believe that if a person were to walk through the tips in this book, then it would completely change their Bible study. I would recommend this book for the individual, but I think that it would be even better if used in a small group study.”
“How to Enjoy Reading Your Bible is an excellent book with some of the best advice on how to develop a lifestyle of consistent Bible reading while enjoying it at the same time.”
“This book will be a reference I keep on hand to gift others I meet who desire to know how to read the Bible with a “relational” approach. It is that helpful and I wish I would of had it years ago!”Amazon reviews...
